The Umbrella Concept
There are several business scenarios that benefit from the umbrella concept. The most obvious fit is the central planning environment. A key manager is tasked with implementing a signed agreement at headquarters and all subsidiary locations participate at their usage level.
The less obvious application of the “umbrella” is the loosely affiliated remote locations. These locations want their own business flexibility yet want a volume price based on their affiliation. In this case, the least amount of centralized planning is desirable, and any centralized enforcement is not. Voluntary participation is the most productive approach in this case.
Touchstone Umbrella Agreement (TUA) is flexible to meet the needs of our clients. If a client owns, controls, and centrally plans for their properties a TUA can be tailored to meet their business objectives. Also, if a client is a property manager and is entrusted with the properties of their owners, a TUA can be tailored to address their needs.
Both scenarios may require the support of Touchstone expertise. This may come in the form of a carefully crafted email to the end users that emphasize their vested interest in participating in the lead safe certification campaign. The support emails focus on law enforcement in their city and financial rewards in the form of rebates.
